The Square Cafe Balbriggan

Amazing coffee. New blend they have is amazing. I would like to think I know coffee reviewing coffee all over the world. The square cafe is very well presented. Very clean and a somewhat nostalgic atmosphere. In can surly say top 3 coffee shops in Balbriggan. The roast is well versed the blend is somehow unique to others in Balbriggan which shows that the owners care more about the quality than quantity. Congratulations Staff friendly. Very knowledgeable about coffee and extremely experienced. Highly highly recommended. Ask for the main blend

Update Grabbed a coffee from the truck beside the community centre. Absolutely perfect See you again ‐---‐-------------------- Coffee is hit and miss. Barrista's don't seem to be as competent as other places in the town. (I.e java and cabana) The coffee I got today was supposed to be a latte, but it was basically an americano with hot milk and zero foam. And more expensive than java and cabana. See the difference in the pic. UPDATE: I sense some passive aggressiveness in the response. For clarification, the picture I took was just after I had left, so it's not a random image slapped up there. I was buying a coffee there once or twice a week. It's not rocket science to make a decent foamy latte/cappuccino. The quality just isn't as good as other cafes. I'll come back again, if the quality is better I'll update my review.

Nice place to sit outside or inside with the kids while walking to the town or driving to the beach as the pk is just 2 minutes walking. Good variety of pastries and homemade sandwiches. Good coffee, ice teas and ice coffees. Really friendly staff. I love the location!

The Square Café boasts a wide range of options, ranging from smoothies , to treats & of course coffee . Today I opted for a cappuccino and to say it was done to perfection would be an understatement: Bold aroma, rich flavours and an ideal temperature . I’ll definitely return to try out the rest of their offerings. Overall a great experience, might I add, the best place in Balbriggan to sit, have a coffee and watch the world go by

Nice place..Nice coffees..lovely staff..only thing there is no toilet..and people usually used the library toilet next door but it wasn't open when I needed.

Little local cafe opened four month ago in the town centre. Few tables inside and few outside, hope they will extend it next year (outside). Had a lovely morning chat with a very pleasant owner, all what you need before enjoying your morning coffee. He was very honest and polite when asked about pastries freshness and he offer me a very fresh chocolate croissant and as bonus he treated me with a free baklava , as we had a discussion about it. Hope to see more cozy places as this cafe and make some connections with a town.
